- [Which notifications you receive](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/communication/receive-notifications-for-new-activities-on-the-platform.md): Talkspirit notifies you through two channels, the notification bell and email, for events in Structure, Goals, Projects and Meetings. Everything is on by default, and the classic apps signal activity separately.
- [Receiving a summary email of missed activities](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/communication/how-to-receive-a-digest-email-notification.md): Talkspirit can email you one summary of what you missed in the Newsfeed, on the Home page and in your calendar. Set it in Profile and preferences.

## Collaboration

> Co-edit documents, share files, run live meetings, and work together across teams and time zones.

### Projects & tasks

- [Adding a progress bar to a task](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-add-a-progress-bar-to-your-task.md): Add a progress bar to a task to track a measurable metric such as budget, articles written, or units sold. You set the value manually, and each task can have one progress bar.
- [The Projects module](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/the-projects-app.md): The Projects module is where you track work in Talkspirit: tasks assigned to members, roles or circles, organised on project boards and gathered in your My tasks view.
- [New Projects module Overview](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/new-projects-app-overview.md): The Projects module in Talkspirit brings former Actions and Projects together as Tasks: personal tasks, sub-tasks, and tasks on project boards, all tracked from one place.
- [Activating the Projects module](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-activate-projects.md): An administrator turns on the Projects module from Administration so members can plan work on boards and track tasks through to completion.
- [Keep a project private to yourself](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/keep-a-project-private.md): In Talkspirit, keep a project visible only to you by creating it with Secret privacy, then add members whenever you want to share it.
- [Adding an extra project board](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-add-an-extra-project-board.md): Add another project board from the Projects module, set its privacy, and star boards to keep the ones you use most within quick reach.
- [Duplicating a project board](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-duplicate-a-project-board.md): Duplicating a project board creates an independent copy. You name the copy and choose whether to bring across its columns, its tasks, and its members.
- [List, Board, Timeline and Calendar project views](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/kanban-hierarchy-list-timeline-task-board-views.md): Projects shows your tasks in four views, List, Board, Timeline and Calendar, in My tasks and on every project board.
- [Using the Projects Timeline view](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-use-projects-timeline-view.md): The Timeline view in Talkspirit lets you visualise tasks with start and end dates across projects, boards, and My Tasks.
- [Manage sections in a Kanban project board](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-manage-columns-in-your-kanban-project-board.md): Board owners and admins can add, rename, recolour, reorder, and archive the sections that appear as columns on a Kanban project board in Talkspirit.
- [Manage project boards as an administrator](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/administrate-project-boards-as-an-admin.md): Organisation administrators configure project boards across Talkspirit: show unassigned boards to members, control board creation for circles, lock board edition, and define default board templates.
- [Configure your project board](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/administrate-your-project-board-as-a-member.md): Configure a project board from its Settings panel: set privacy, control who can assign tasks, link sections to task statuses, and choose which views and card fields appear. Owners and Admins only.
- [Open collaboration on projects](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/what-is-open-collaboration-on-projects.md): Open collaboration is the Projects model that lets you assign any member, role, or circle across the organisation, shaped by per-project access roles, an assignment control, and three privacy levels.
- [Managing assignments under open collaboration](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-manage-assignations-within-open-collaboration.md): Assign circles, roles, and members to projects and tasks, adjust or remove those assignments, and follow task assignment activity in the project activity feed.
- [Adding, editing, archiving, and deleting tasks](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-add-edit-archive-and-delete-tasks.md): Add, edit, archive, and delete tasks in the Projects module. Editing saves automatically, and a task must be archived before it can be deleted.
- [Adding, editing, or deleting a task due date](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-add-edit-and-delete-a-task-due-date.md): In Talkspirit, you can add, change, or remove a task due date from the task itself, from List view, or by dragging the task in Timeline and Calendar views.
- [Adding sub-tasks to a task](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-add-subtasks-to-a-task.md): Break a task into a checklist of sub-tasks, group them into named lists, and nest them to any depth.
- [Adding and removing task dependencies](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-add-and-remove-task-dependencies.md): A dependency records that one task waits on another. Add them in the task's Dependencies section, choosing whether this task depends on the other or blocks it, or draw them as arrows between task bars on the Timeline view.
- [Duplicating a task](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-duplicate-a-task.md): In Talkspirit, you can duplicate a task to reuse its structure. The copy keeps the original's description, dates, subtasks, and assignees, and appears in the same section.
- [Can I make a single task private?](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-make-your-tasks-private.md): The Projects module has no per-task privacy setting. Who can see a task is decided by the privacy of the board it belongs to.
- [Moving a task to another board](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-move-task-to-another-board.md): In Talkspirit, you can move any task to another project board you are a member of. The task keeps its assignees, and every subtask moves with it.
- [Setting up recurrent tasks](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-set-up-recurrent-tasks.md): Task recurrence is not available yet, here is what happens if you try, and how recurrence worked in the previous version.
- [My Tasks section](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/my-tasks-section.md): The My Tasks section in Talkspirit gathers all task cards assigned to you across every project in one place.
- [Group projects](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/communication/group-projects.md) (also): Create a project linked to a group in the Projects module, choose open or private visibility, and invite people from outside the group

### Drive & files

- [Talkspirit Drive](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/talkspirit-drive.md): Talkspirit Drive is a file space for storing, organising, and sharing your documents, images, and videos, with a personal drive per member and a shared drive per group.
- [My Drive on Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/my-drive-on-talkspirit.md): My Drive is your personal file storage in Talkspirit, separate from group drives, where you can create documents and organise your own files.
- [Import a folder into your Drive](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/import-a-folder-in-your-drive.md): You can import an entire folder from your computer into the Drive by drag and drop or the Upload a folder button, with nested subfolders preserved.
- [Moving and sharing a document from the Drive](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/move-and-share-a-document-from-the-drive.md): Learn how to share Drive files with other members and move them between your personal drive and group drives in Talkspirit.
- [Downloading, moving, or deleting Drive files in bulk](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/download-move-delete-files-from-the-drive-in-bulk.md): Download, move, delete, preview, and share several Drive files at once. Whole folders download as a single zip; the other bulk actions apply to individual files.
- [Enabling bulk actions on the Drive](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/enable-bulk-actions-on-the-drive.md): Platform administrators choose whether all members or only group managers can download, move, and delete files in bulk in group drives.
- [Prevent members from uploading files from their computer](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/prevent-members-from-uploading-files-from-their-computer.md): As an administrator, stop members uploading files from their own computer while keeping cloud sources available, using the Restrict computer upload file setting in Administration.
- [Drive rights management](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/drive-rights-management.md): A group manager decides which members can manage files, create labels, and run bulk actions in a group Drive from the group's Manage permissions screen.
- [Create and co-edit collaborative documents in the Drive](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/collaborative-documents-in-the-drive.md): Create text documents, spreadsheets, and slideshows in the Drive and co-edit them in real time with your group, using the built-in collaborative editor.
- [Delete and restore files in the Drive Trash](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/talkspirits-trash.md): When you delete a Drive file in Talkspirit, it moves to the Trash for 30 days. During that time you can restore it or delete it permanently; after 30 days it is deleted automatically.
- [Working with Drive Labels](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/working-with-drive-labels.md): Drive labels are colour-coded keywords for organising files and folders in group drives. Two types exist: group drive labels, scoped to one drive, and organisation labels, shared across every drive.
- [Creating organisation labels in the Drive](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/creating-organisation-labels-in-the-drive.md): Organisation labels are colour-coded keywords created by administrators and applied across all group drives on the platform to organise files and folders.
- [Enabling a cloud file picker](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/integrations/enable-a-cloud-file-picker.md) (also): Administrators switch Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or Box on in Administration > Integrations, after registering a Client ID for Google Drive and OneDrive

### Library & pages

- [Using the Library](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/the-library.md): The Library is a centralised app where members can find all useful resources shared by the organisation, managed by appointed Library managers.
- [Managing the Library module in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/managing-the-library-module.md): Administrators enable or disable the Library module from Administration, then choose Library managers, set it as the landing page, and allow guest access from the Library's own administration settings.
- [Creating pages and sub-pages in the Library](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/creating-pages-and-sub-pages-in-the-library.md): Talkspirit Library managers can create main pages and sub-pages, name them, and add cover images. New pages are in draft by default until published.
- [Inserting and formatting text in a Library page](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/inserting-and-formatting-text-in-a-library-page.md): Talkspirit Library pages support rich text formatting, quotes, emojis, member mentions, and external hyperlinks using the built-in editor.
- [Adding a table to a Library page](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/adding-a-table-into-a-library-page.md): Talkspirit Library managers can insert a table into a page with the / command, add or remove rows and columns from the hover controls, and fill each cell with text, emoji, mentions, and links.
- [Adding an image to a Library page](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/adding-an-image-into-a-library-page.md): Talkspirit Library managers can insert, resize, caption, replace, and delete images on Library pages using the / command and hover options.
- [Add files, links, and embeds to a Library page](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/add-files-links-and-embeds-to-a-library-page.md): Use the slash command menu on a Talkspirit Library page to attach a file, link to another Library page, upload a video, and embed external content.
- [Defining an audience and publishing a Library page](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/define-an-audience-and-publish-a-library-page.md): Talkspirit Library managers can restrict page visibility to specific users or groups, then publish the page to make it accessible to the defined audience.
- [Updating, unpublishing, or deleting a Library page](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/update-unpublish-or-delete-a-library-page.md): Library managers can update, unpublish, or permanently delete pages in Talkspirit to keep the Library content accurate and relevant for all members.
- [Tracking and highlighting Library resources in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/organise-the-library.md): Talkspirit Library managers can filter pages by status, pin up to 6 pages on the homepage, and reorder the page tree to keep content organised and accessible.

### Calendar

- [Activating birthdays and work anniversaries](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/activate-birthdays-and-work-anniversaries.md): Administrators turn on birthdays and work anniversaries in the Calendar settings so members can see them in the Events calendar, and can fill in a member's dates from Manage users.
- [Viewing and using birthdays and work anniversaries](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/birthdays-and-work-anniversaries.md): Members can display coworkers' birthdays and work anniversaries in the Events calendar and send a quick chat message directly from the event.
- [View, customise and synchronise your calendar](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/talkspirit-calendars-feature.md): Talkspirit's calendar lets you view coworkers' availability, add group calendars to your view, set agenda colours, and synchronise with Google or Microsoft Outlook in both directions.
- [Using the Talkspirit calendar](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/calendar.md): The Talkspirit calendar shows every event you take part in, group and private events plus synced external calendars, and lets you create events in a few steps.
- [Using Events in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/events.md): A Talkspirit event is a dated contribution with participants, shown in the Calendar. Who can see an event follows the privacy of the group or the member list it is shared with, and you can export your events to an external calendar.

### Members & profiles

- [Navigating a member's profile](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/how-to-navigate-members-profile.md): A member's profile in Talkspirit opens as a side panel with an Info tab plus role, project, and goal tabs, and an actions menu for roles history and activities.
- [Company profiles](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/company-profiles.md): Company profiles let members publish posts and comments under a shared identity, such as a department or committee. They appear in the Administration console under Users.
- [Edit a member's profile information](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/collaboration/edit-user-profile-information.md): As an administrator, you can edit another member's profile details, such as name, email, job title, and biography, from the Users section of Administration.

## Structure & Governance

> The Structure and Meetings modules: circles, roles, proposals, policies. Run Holacracy, Sociocracy, or your own practice.

### Chart & circles

- [Circles in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/circle-overview.md): A circle in Talkspirit is a unit of your organisation in the Structure module. It holds roles, sub-circles and members, and carries its own purpose, domains and accountabilities.
- [Adding a role or a circle](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-add-a-role-or-a-circle.md): Adding a role or a sub-circle in Talkspirit goes through a proposal, which takes effect once the circle adopts it. Administrators can also add one straight to the chart in Architect mode.
- [Using Spark on a role or a circle](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-create-and-edit-a-circle-or-role-with-ai-assistant.md): Spark drafts the purpose, domains and accountabilities of a role or a circle on the form where you create or edit it. It does not create the role or the circle itself.
- [Editing a role or a circle](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-edit-a-role-or-a-circle.md): Edit a role or a circle from its page in Structure. One dialog holds the name, purpose, domains and accountabilities, and the change travels as a governance proposal instead of landing on the chart straight away.
- [Deleting a role or a circle](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-delete-a-role-or-a-circle.md): Delete a role or a circle from its page in Structure. Deleting a circle takes its roles, its sub-circles and every assignment to them, the interface offers no way to restore it, and in most organisations the deletion travels as a governance proposal.
- [Can I duplicate a circle?](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-duplicate-a-circle.md): Talkspirit has no Duplicate action for a circle. Create the new circle, then fill it from role templates, and use Copy from existing role when you need a second role like one already in the circle.
- [Transforming a role into a circle, or a circle back into a role](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-transform-a-role-into-a-circle-and-back.md): Extend a role into a circle from the role menu, in one step. Reducing a sub-circle back to a role is a proposal instead, and it deletes whatever you do not move out of the circle first.
- [Moving a role or circle to another circle](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-move-a-role-or-circle-from-one-circle-to-another.md): Move a role or a sub-circle to a different circle from its own page in Structure. The move travels as a governance proposal and lands on the chart once that proposal is adopted.
- [Restructuring a sub-circle in a governance meeting](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-restructure-a-circle-in-governance-meetings.md): Restructure a sub-circle without leaving a governance meeting: add a Restructure evolution to a proposal on the agenda item, then adopt the proposal to move roles and sub-circles in or out.
- [What happens when you delete a circle](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/what-happens-when-deleting-a-circle.md): Deleting a circle takes its roles, sub-circles and every assignment beneath it. Goals, metrics and projects stay behind, and the interface cannot undo it
- [Adding or removing a member without a role from a circle](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-add-or-remove-a-member-without-a-role-from-a-circle.md): Add someone to a circle without giving them a role, remove them again, and know what the two actions really change, starting with decision-maker rights.
- [Decision makers in a circle](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/what-is-a-decision-maker-of-a-circle.md): A decision maker is a circle member who can create roles, sub-circles and proposals in that circle. Everyone assigned to a circle is one by default
- [Circle Admins](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/who-are-circle-admins.md): A circle admin manages one circle: its settings, its other circle admins, and who counts as a decision maker in it. It is not the same as being a decision maker, nor the same as being an organisation administrator.
- [Navigating your organisation chart](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-navigate-your-chart.md): Explore organisation draws every circle and role in your organisation on one canvas. Switch between three views, zoom and pan, and open any circle or role from the chart.
- [Time travel: viewing your structure's history](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/time-travel.md): Time travel replays your organisation's structural history so you can see the chart exactly as it was on any past date, from a read-only timeline of every circle and role change.
- [Using the chart search in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-use-the-chart-search.md): The search box on the organisation chart dims every role that does not match what you type. It matches circle and role names and the names of the people assigned to them.
- [Managing chart custom views](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-manage-chart-custom-views.md): A view is a saved set of highlights that colours roles and circles on your organisation chart. Create one from Highlight, apply it in one click, and share it if you are an administrator.
- [Managing chart settings in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/managing-chart-settings.md): Administrators choose which views the organisation chart offers, which one members open first, and whether member photos appear on it, from Structure settings > Visualisation.
- [Editing the top-level circle](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/edit-the-top-level-circle.md): The top-level circle is the one with no circle above it. It is the only circle whose edits apply the moment you save them, and editing it asks for decision-maker status on that circle rather than administrator rights.
- [What a circle page shows](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/circle-page-tabs.md): Opening a circle in Talkspirit gives you one page with up to nine tabs. Four are always there, five depend on your organisation's settings, and a side rail lists the circle's roles and sub-circles.
- [Personalising a circle's settings](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/personalizing-your-circles-settings.md): A circle's own settings page holds its role configuration, its circle admins, its governance overrides and its privacy, each set for that circle alone
- [Configuring circle settings for my organisation](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-configure-circle-settings-for-my-organization.md): Circle settings in Talkspirit define how all circles operate, role assignment, elections, main roles and decision-making, and which of those settings each circle can change for itself.
- [Setting a circle to private](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-do-i-set-my-circle-private.md): A circle's Privacy tab holds two controls, Operations visibility and Attachments and agreements visibility. Neither one hides the circle from the chart.
- [Managing custom fields for roles and circles](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/manage-custom-fields-for-roles-and-circles.md): Administrators create, edit, hide, reorder and delete custom fields in Structure settings, so role and circle pages carry the information their organisation needs.
- [Editing governance fields on a role or a circle](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-edit-core-and-custom-governance-fields-for-roles-and-circles.md): Every role and circle page carries four core governance fields plus your organisation's custom fields. Core fields change through a proposal, custom fields are usually typed straight in.
- [Adding attachments to roles and circles](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/adding-attachments-to-roles-and-circles.md): Every role and circle in Talkspirit has an Attachments tab where you can upload files or save links to documents that live elsewhere. This article covers the sources, the limits, and who can add or remove an attachment.
- [Managing chart highlights as an administrator](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/manage-highlights-as-an-admin.md): Administrators build chart highlights on Structure settings > Visualisation > Highlight, then publish them by adding them to a shared view. A highlight on its own colours nobody's chart.
- [Highlights on the organisation chart](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/understanding-highlights.md): A highlight is a colour with a rule behind it. It paints the roles and circles that match and pushes the rest into the background, but only once you apply a view that contains it.
- [Enable the Translation add-on](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-enable-translation-add-on.md) (also): The Translation add-on machine-translates your organisation's circles and roles into the languages you activate, so members can read the chart in their own language. Only an administrator can enable it.

### Roles & assignments

- [Roles in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/role-overview.md): A role in Talkspirit describes a piece of work through its purpose, domains and accountabilities. Members are assigned to it, and one role can have several holders.
- [Main roles and the Core badge](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/understanding-core-roles.md): A main role is a role created from a role template with the Main role box ticked. Talkspirit adds one to every new circle, shows it with a Core badge, and lets only main roles assign members.
- [Assigning or removing a member from a role](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-assign-or-remove-a-member-from-a-role.md): Add or remove the people who fill a role in Talkspirit, and understand what an assignment also grants: circle membership and decision-maker rights.
- [Applying for a role, or leaving one](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-do-i-apply-or-resign-from-a-role.md): Apply for a role marked as hiring, and leave a role you hold, with the one permission that decides whether you can leave it yourself
- [Viewing your roles and circles](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-can-i-see-my-roles.md): Find your own roles in the Structure panel under My circles and roles, on the Roles tab of your member profile, on the Cockpit, and on the chart
- [Cross-circle roles in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/cross-circle-roles-overview.md): A cross-circle role is an existing role invited into another circle: what it inherits, who can invite one, and who can hold it
- [Adding, editing, or deleting a cross-circle role](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-add-edit-or-delete-a-cross-circle-role.md): Invite a role from another circle into yours through a proposal or in Architect mode, and see what editing or deleting the invited copy changes.
- [Building relations between roles and circles](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/building-relationships-between-roles.md): A relation is derived, never typed. Talkspirit records one when a role or a circle mentions another in its domains or accountabilities, and shows it in the read-only Relations section on a circle's General tab.
- [Creating and managing role templates](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/role-templates-overview.md): A role template is a reusable role definition administrators create in Structure settings. Talkspirit ships none, so your organisation's list starts empty and you build it.
- [Role Template Starter Definitions](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/role-templates-library.md): Talkspirit ships no ready-made role templates. These are the standard role definitions from the Holacracy, Sociocracy, Scrum and Goal frameworks, ready to copy into templates you create yourself.
- [Holding an election for an elected role](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-hold-an-election-for-an-elected-role.md): Fill an elected role in Talkspirit by running an election proposal, or nominate someone directly for a temporary mandate with an end date.
- [Mentioning roles in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-mention-roles.md): Type @ and the first letters of a role's name in any rich text field to insert a link to that role. From a comment, the mention also notifies everyone assigned to the role.
- [Time Spent in Roles Add-on Overview](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/time-spent-in-roles-add-on-overview.md): The Time spent in roles add-on lets each member record what share of their working time goes to each role, and turns those percentages into FTE figures on circle pages, role pages and member profiles.
- [Activating the Time spent in roles add-on](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/activate-the-time-spent-in-my-roles-add-on.md): Switch on the Time spent add-on from Administration, check what your organisation is entitled to, and see what changes for members once it is on.

### Meetings

- [Meetings Overview](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/meetings-overview.md): How the Meetings module works: scheduling, reusable templates, agenda preparation, live note-taking, reports, and calendar synchronisation
- [Governance Meetings Overview](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/introducing-governance-meetings.md): How a governance meeting runs in Talkspirit: the five sections of the Governance Meeting template, how proposals reach the agenda, and how the circle decides on each one.
- [Tactical Meetings Overview](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/introducing-tactical-meetings.md): Tactical meetings in Talkspirit are structured circle meetings focused on operational work, triaging issues and assigning actions to keep work moving.
- [Scheduling, starting, editing, and deleting a meeting](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-open-schedule-edit-or-delete-a-meeting.md): Schedule a meeting in Talkspirit, give it a recurrence, start it when it is time, and delete one occurrence or the whole series
- [Adding agenda items to a meeting](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/adding-agenda-items-to-a-meeting.md): Every participant can add to a meeting's agenda, before it starts or while it runs, by typing into the Agenda panel or importing an item they parked earlier
- [Transcribing a meeting with the AI notetaker](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/transcribe-a-meeting-with-the-ai-notetaker.md): The AI notetaker transcribes a meeting as it happens, so you can follow the discussion in text and keep a written record. It runs in the Talkspirit Desktop app and processes your microphone on your own machine.
- [Adding a videoconference link to a meeting](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-add-a-videoconference-link-to-a-meeting.md): Switch a meeting to Video or Hybrid to get a Talkspirit room link generated for you, or paste your own from Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Zoom
- [Meeting visibility: who can see and take part](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/meeting-visibility.md): Every Talkspirit meeting is Public or Private. On a Public meeting, anyone in the organisation can open it, add an agenda item, and set the note taker
- [Closing a meeting](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-close-a-meeting.md): Any participant can close a meeting in Talkspirit. Closing creates the meeting report, records where each agenda item ended up, and can be undone for two hours
- [Changing the note taker during a meeting](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-change-the-secretary-during-a-meeting.md): Any participant can hand the note taker role to another invited participant from the Participants panel, before or during a Talkspirit meeting.
- [Tracking meeting attendance](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-track-meeting-attendance.md): Talkspirit tracks meeting attendance in two places: the invitation replies in the Participants panel, and the Check-in section of the running meeting, whose ticks are what the report keeps.
- [Saving the agenda items of a meeting you missed](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-manage-missed-meetings-and-their-agenda-items.md): Talkspirit deletes a scheduled meeting nobody opened: after 1 day with no agenda items, after 7 days with agenda items. Move the items before then
- [Transferring unprocessed agenda items to another meeting](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-transfer-unprocessed-agenda-items-to-another-meeting.md): Unprocessed agenda items stay on the closed meeting in Talkspirit until you reschedule them from the Agenda items page onto a future agenda
- [Creating a meeting template](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-create-a-meeting-template.md): Build a reusable meeting structure in Talkspirit: add sections and agenda items, then choose who in your organisation can use the template
- [Meeting Templates: Best Practices and Example Uses](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/meeting-templates-best-practices-example-uses.md): Which of the ten meeting templates that ship with Talkspirit suits your meeting, what sections each one runs, and how to shape a template teams keep
- [Synchronising meetings with an external calendar](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/allow-external-calendar-synchronization.md): Connect your own Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook account, or subscribe to an ICS feed, so your Talkspirit meetings appear in the calendar you already use.
- [Setting up a calendar inbox](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/set-up-a-calendar-inbox.md): A calendar inbox gives your organisation an email address that accepts meeting invitations. Invitations sent to it are routed to the circles you choose, so meetings organised outside Talkspirit still land in the right place.
- [Bring an item to a meeting agenda](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-use-bring-to-meeting.md): Add a goal, task, board, proposal, metric or checklist to an upcoming meeting's agenda with the Bring to a meeting action

### Proposals & decisions

- [Proposals Overview](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/proposals-overview.md): A proposal is how a decision maker puts a governance change to their circle. It carries one or more changes, is discussed by the circle, and only reaches the organisation chart once it is adopted.
- [Creating a proposal](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-create-a-proposal.md): Create a governance proposal in Talkspirit: pick its type and its circle, add the changes you want, then submit it to the circle for a decision
- [Using Spark inside a proposal](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-create-a-proposal-with-ai-assistant.md): Spark drafts the content of the changes you put in a proposal: a new role's purpose, domains and accountabilities, and a policy's description. It plays no part in creating the proposal itself.
- [Adding a proposal from the Proposals page](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-add-a-proposal-in-the-proposals-app.md): Start a governance proposal from Structure > Proposals: choose a type and a circle, then build the change as evolutions before you submit it.
- [Submitting and tracking a proposal](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-submit-and-track-a-proposal.md): Submit a draft proposal to your circle in Talkspirit, then follow it from Submitted to Adopted, Rejected or Withdrawn on the Proposals page.
- [Voting on a proposal](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-vote-on-a-proposal.md): Decision makers of the circle a proposal applies to record their consent, by raising no objection or by objecting with a reason, during the review period or in a governance meeting.
- [Deleting or withdrawing a proposal](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-remove-or-delete-a-proposal.md): Delete removes a draft for good. A proposal already in circulation cannot be deleted: the only way to stop it is Withdraw, which is permanent and cannot be resubmitted.
- [Decision settings](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/what-are-decision-settings.md): Decision settings control whether governance changes in Talkspirit apply directly or become a proposal that circle members can object to first
- [Setting up consent decision-making for my organisation](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-set-up-consent-decision-making-for-my-organization.md): Administrators set up consent decision-making on the Decision settings tab: require proposals for governance changes, then give circle members a review period in which to object before a proposal is adopted.
- [Where are my tensions and how do I process them?](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/tensions-overview.md): Your tensions live in the lightning-bolt panel in the top bar and in the Tensions list, where each one becomes a proposal, an agenda item or a task.

### Policies & publications

- [Adding, editing, and deleting metrics](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-add-edit-and-delete-metrics.md): Metrics track a number a circle or role reports on a set frequency. Add one from the Metrics tab, record its values, and delete it in two stages: archive first, then delete.
- [Adding or editing a policy](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-add-or-edit-a-policy.md): A policy is a document attached to a circle or a role. Add one from the Policies section of that circle or role, write it in the editor, then publish it or submit it for governance.
- [Publications Overview](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/publications-overview.md): Publications are called working agreements in Talkspirit. Find them in Structure, see what a document holds, and learn how types, visibility, consent and version history work.
- [Adding and publishing a working agreement](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-add-and-publish-a-publication.md): Create a working agreement from the Structure module, attach it to one of your roles, write it, and publish it. Document types set to a governance workflow go to the circle for a decision instead.
- [Editing, archiving or deleting a working agreement](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-edit-or-delete-a-publication.md): How to change the content of a working agreement in Talkspirit, publish the new version, and archive or permanently delete one you no longer need.
- [Using the working agreement editor](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-use-publications-editor-tool.md): The working agreement editor in Talkspirit supports headings, lists, tables, callouts, emoji shortcuts, and inline mentions for rich content creation.
- [Collaborating on a working agreement](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/publications-collaborative-edition.md): Several people can work on the same working agreement in Talkspirit, but not at the same moment: edits go to a shared draft that someone then publishes, and comments carry the discussion.
- [View and restore an earlier version of a working agreement](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/publications-version-history.md): Every working agreement in Talkspirit keeps its published versions. Open Version history from the document menu to see the list and restore an earlier version.
- [Managing document types](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/manage-publications-types.md): Administrators create, edit and delete the document types that categorise working agreements, and decide which types go through a governance proposal before they are published.
- [Documenting processes with working agreements](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/publications-processes.md): Documented processes live in the Structure module as working agreements. Each document type either publishes directly or goes through a governance proposal, and every document moves from draft to published.
- [Adding, editing, and deleting checklists](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-add-edit-and-delete-checklists.md): Checklists in Talkspirit track recurring role and circle actions with a set recurrence, ticked off from the role or circle page or during a meeting.

### Methodologies

- [Holacracy add-on overview](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/holacracy-add-on-overview.md): The Holacracy add-on switches on tensions, checklists, the Governance and Tactical meeting templates, and Holacracy terminology. The rest of the Structure module works without it.
- [Holacracy in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/holacracy-in-talkspirit.md): Holacracy is the default governance methodology in Talkspirit. Turn on the Holacracy add-on for tensions and checklists, then map roles, circles, proposals, elections and meetings to your practice.
- [What changes come with Holacracy 5.0?](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/what-changes-come-with-holacracy-50.md): Holacracy 5.0 renames two structural roles, lets a role be held by several members, formalises cross-circle roles, and tightens circle membership. Talkspirit's Structure module supports it without tying you to a version.
- [Running sociocracy in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/sociocracy-in-talkspirit.md): Talkspirit has no sociocracy mode. What it has is consent decisions, elected roles, representative roles and renameable vocabulary, and this is how to assemble them into a sociocratic practice.

### Governance basics

- [Governance in the Structure module](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/governance-overview.md): Governance in Talkspirit lives in the Structure module: circles, roles, and the proposals that change them. Here is the map and who can change what
- [Architect mode in the Structure module](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/architect-mode-overview.md): Architect mode lets administrators edit your organisation's structure directly in the Structure module, applying each change to the live chart with no proposal
- [Understanding Domains](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/understanding-domains.md): A domain is something a role or circle controls exclusively. It is one of the four core governance fields carried by every role and circle page in Talkspirit.
- [Using the Translation add-on](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/structure-governance/how-to-use-translation-add-on.md): With the Translation add-on, every member can read circles and roles in one of the languages your organisation has activated, and appointed translators review the automatic translations.

## Goals & Analytics

> Set OKRs, track objectives, and align your team around measurable outcomes.

### Goals & OKRs

- [The Goals module](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/goals-overview.md): The Goals module lets your organisation set objectives, measure them with key results, and follow progress in the List, Hierarchy and Timeline views.
- [Adding, editing, or deleting a goal](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/how-to-add-edit-or-delete-a-goal.md): Add a goal in the Goals module by giving it a title, an owner and a time period, edit it from its own page, then archive it when the period closes or delete it for good.
- [Creating a company goal](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/create-company-goals.md): A company goal in Talkspirit is a goal whose Category is set to Company. Only administrators can choose that category, and the Goals module groups those goals under Company Goals.
- [How do I visualise the goal hierarchy?](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/visualize-the-goals-hierarchy.md): The Hierarchy view in the Goals module draws your goals as a tree, each one sitting under its parent goal, so you can see how objectives nest and where progress stands.
- [The three Goals views: List, Timeline and Hierarchy](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/the-different-goals-views.md): The Goals module shows one set of goals in three ways: List as a sortable table, Timeline as bars on a calendar, and Hierarchy as the tree linking parent goals to their sub-goals.
- [Managing Goal time periods for my organisation](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/manage-goal-time-periods.md): Administrators create and maintain the Goal time periods their organisation plans on, from the Goals module's own settings page, and control which ones members can choose.
- [Assigning responsibility for a key result](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/assign-members-to-key-results.md): Key results in Talkspirit have no individual assignee: responsibility sits on the goal that holds them, through its Owner and the Update progress permission you grant when you share it.
- [How do I weight key results and sub-goals?](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/weighted-objective.md): A goal's Progress driver settings let you weight each key result and sub-goal from 0.25x to 4x, so the results that matter most move the goal further.
- [Implementing Goals in your organisation](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/how-to-implement-goals.md): A practical cadence for rolling out Goals in Talkspirit: annual company goals, quarterly team goals, and regular check-ins that keep progress current.

### Statistics & dashboards

- [View your organisation's key metrics](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/organisation-overview.md): The Administration Overview page shows your organisation's key metrics at a glance: total accounts, active modules, storage used, and AI credit consumption.
- [View statistics for goals, projects, and meetings](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/view-app-statistics.md): The Goals, Projects, and Meetings apps each have a Statistics tab in their settings, showing an Insights dashboard of metrics and charts for the period you choose, from the current month to the last 12 months.
- [Download a statistics report](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/goals-analytics/download-a-statistics-report.md): Administrators can export their organisation's Talkspirit usage statistics from the Statistics page as a raw Excel spreadsheet or a pre-formatted PowerPoint presentation covering the past year.
- [Group statistics](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/communication/group-statistics.md) (also): Every group member can view a group's statistics in Talkspirit: top authors and contributors, audience, connections, devices, per-app activity, and an Excel export

## Administration & Security

> Manage members, permissions, SSO/SAML/SCIM, platform settings, and data compliance as an administrator.

### Users & access

- [Managing users](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/managing-users.md): Read the Users list in Administration, find someone with search and filters, and see what each row action does and when it is available
- [User Roles and Permissions](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/user-roles.md): Every account in your organisation is an administrator, a member or a guest. See what each one may do, and how an administrator changes someone's role.
- [Inviting new users, members, or guests](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/inviting-new-users-members-or-guests.md): Administrators invite members and guests from Administration > Invitations, by email or by unique identifier, or by sharing a sign-up link.
- [Ways to add new members to your organisation](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-do-i-add-new-members-to-my-organization.md): Four routes put a person into a Talkspirit organisation: an invitation, a sign-up link, self sign-up, or provisioning from your identity provider.
- [Managing email invitations for new members](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/manage-email-invitations-for-new-members.md): Administrators track, resend and cancel pending invitations from Administration > Invitations, and control the automatic reminder emails.
- [Adding users without an email address](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/users-without-email.md): Give frontline staff an account without an email address: turn on the unique identifier, invite them, and hand over their access code yourself
- [Guest users](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/guest-users.md): A guest account has no organisation-wide access. What a guest can reach is fixed by the access scope chosen when the invitation was sent.
- [Change a member to a guest or a guest to a member](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/making-a-member-a-guest-or-making-a-guest-a-member.md): Switch an account between member and guest from Administration > Users, and see exactly what the person keeps, what they lose, and what cannot be undone
- [User administrator permissions](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/the-user-administrator.md): A user administrator manages people, invitations and profiles without full administrator rights, and the role is granted and used in classic Talkspirit
- [Sign-up settings for members and guests](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/members-and-guests-settings.md): Control who can create an account without an invitation, which sign-up methods are available, and which email domains you accept.
- [Managing profile fields for members](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/manage-custom-fields-for-members.md): Add your own fields to member profiles from Administration > Users > Profile fields, and choose which ones appear on member cards.
- [Manage all groups as an administrator](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/managing-groups.md): Administration > Groups lists every group in your organisation, but creating, editing, archiving and deleting a group is done in classic Talkspirit
- [Editing, suspending, restoring or removing a member](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-edit-suspend-restore-or-delete-a-member-from-my-organization.md): Edit a member's details, suspend or restore their access, and remove someone who leaves, from Administration > Users. There is no delete button: removing a member means suspending them, and anonymising them when their data must go too.
- [Suspending users in bulk](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/suspend-users-in-bulk.md): Talkspirit administrators can suspend multiple users at once to revoke platform access without deleting accounts or losing contribution history.
- [Managing members in bulk](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-manage-members-in-bulk.md): Administrators in Talkspirit can edit member types, change status, and resend invitations for multiple members at once from the Members dashboard.
- [Set up the member hierarchy](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-manage-members-hierarchy-view.md): An administrator enables the member hierarchy in Administration > People > Users > Hierarchy, picks the source managers, and a Hierarchy view of reporting lines appears in the Members app.
- [Defining newsletter managers](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/defining-newsletter-managers.md): Newsletter managers are platform members designated by administrators who can create, edit, send, and delete newsletters to all platform members.
- [Find a member's email address](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-find-the-email-of-people-in-my-organization.md): Every member's email address is on their profile in the Members app, with a copy button. Searching the organisation by address is reserved to administrators.
- [User badges](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/user-badges.md): A user badge is a coloured marker an administrator grants to a few members so their posts stand out. Create and assign it in classic Talkspirit, under Administration > Manage users > Badges.
- [Strategies to onboard your team](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/strategies-to-onboard-your-team.md): Plan a Talkspirit rollout: finish the setup before you invite anyone, start with a pilot group, then bring in the rest in waves.
- [Organisation chart](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/getting-started/organization-chart.md) (also): The organisation chart shows your organisation's reporting relationships as a tree on the Members page. Set your own manager and direct reports from your profile once an administrator enables the Member hierarchy add-on.

### Authentication & SSO

- [Setting up Okta SSO in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/set-up-okta-sso.md): Talkspirit supports Okta as a SAML single sign-on provider. An administrator connects Okta under Administration, then members sign in with their Okta credentials.
- [Configuring SAML Authentication](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/saml-authentication.md): Set up SAML 2.0 single sign-on in Talkspirit: enable the SAML provider, enter your identity provider's details, register Talkspirit with your IdP, map claims, enforce SSO, and troubleshoot sign-in.
- [Configuring Google Authentication](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-configure-google-authentication.md): Enable Google sign-in for your Talkspirit organisation from Administration, turn on the Google provider, and optionally restrict which email domains can register through it.
- [Password Security Policy](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/password-security-policy.md): Administrators set password strength, complexity requirements and expiration for their organisation from Administration, Security, Security policies.
- [Automated user provisioning and de-provisioning (SCIM 2.0)](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/automated-user-provisioning-and-de-provisioning-scim-20.md): SCIM 2.0 connects your identity provider to Talkspirit, automating member account creation, updates, and deactivation.

### Organization management

- [Talkspirit Administration overview](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/talkspirits-administration.md): The Talkspirit Administration panel groups every organisation setting into a left sidebar: Overview, Settings, People, Security, and Modules. Only administrators can open it.
- [Customising my organisation's workspace](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-customise-my-organisations-workspace.md): Administrators personalise a Talkspirit workspace from Administration then Organisation: upload an organisation logo, set a login background picture, and choose a brand colour.
- [Changing the name of my organisation](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-change-the-name-of-my-organization.md): Only administrators can rename an organisation in Talkspirit. Update it from the Organisation page in the Administration panel; the field saves as you leave it.
- [Customise your organisation's terminology](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/customise-terminology.md): Rename the structural terms Talkspirit uses, such as circle, role and tension, so your whole organisation sees your own vocabulary instead of the defaults.
- [Changing or adding an owner of my organisation](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-change-or-add-an-owner-of-my-organization.md): An organisation owner is an administrator with the highest level of control. Any existing owner can grant owner status to another administrator from Administration → Users. An organisation can have several owners at once.
- [Deleting my organisation](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-delete-my-organization.md): Any administrator of a Talkspirit organisation can delete it. This action is permanent and removes all users, roles, circles, and content.
- [Setting up tensions for my organisation](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/set-up-tensions-for-your-organization.md): Administrators enable the Holacracy add-on, switch the Tensions practice on for the organisation, and rename the term in Administration › Terminology.

### Platform settings

- [Change your organisation's brand colour](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/change-your-brand-colour.md): Administrators on the Enterprise plan can set a single brand colour that replaces the default Talkspirit palette across the whole organisation, from Administration then Organisation.
- [Configuring default, source, and locked groups](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/configuring-default-source-and-locked-groups.md): Default groups are the groups new members join automatically. Source and locked groups go further: members cannot leave or unfollow them on their own.
- [Enabling beta features in Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/enable-beta-features.md): Beta features let you preview and test functionality that is still in development. When your organisation is in the beta programme, you turn each one on or off from your profile menu.
- [Set the default landing page after sign-in](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/set-the-default-landing-page.md): Administrators use Administration → Onboarding to choose the page every member opens when they sign in: the Cockpit, Homepage, Chat or Structure.
- [Talkspirit Homepage overview](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/the-homepage.md): The Talkspirit Homepage is an internal portal where Homepage managers publish news, events, key contacts and app shortcuts for the audiences they choose.
- [Activating the Homepage](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/activating-the-homepage.md): Administrators activate the Homepage module, designate its managers, and can make it the page members see after signing in. Deactivating it hides the module without deleting its pages or managers.
- [Managing and publishing the Homepage](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/managing-and-publishing-the-homepage.md): Homepage managers in Talkspirit can create pages, add rows and content modules, publish articles and events, and control who sees each page.
- [Creating, editing, and deleting home pages](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/create-modify-delete-a-home-portal-on-the-home-page.md): Homepage managers create, edit, reorder, and delete the pages of the Talkspirit Homepage from the Administration, setting each page's title, audience, and draft or published status.
- [Publishing app shortcuts on the Homepage](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/publish-app-shortcuts-on-the-homepage.md): Homepage managers can add an Apps module to a Talkspirit home page, giving members one-click shortcuts to the activated applications in the organisation's apps directory.
- [Format text in a Homepage item description](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/add-text-to-a-homepage-item-description.md): The description field of a Homepage module opens a rich text editor: format selected text from the toolbar, and insert lists, tables and emojis with the / command.
- [Using the Homepage on mobile](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/the-homepage-on-mobile.md): In the Talkspirit mobile app, the Homepage shows your published home pages in a single scrolling column. You can switch pages from the list at the top and read every module in full. Pages are edited from a computer.
- [Recommended image sizes for the Talkspirit home page](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/recommended-image-sizes-on-the-home-page.md): Use images of 1040 x 480 pixels on the Talkspirit home page. Every image is delivered in a single 1040 x 480 px format, whatever the module width, so one size fits all six row formats.
- [Public pages](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/public-pages.md): Public pages are externally visible pages that administrators build and publish to a public web address, showing your organisation's structure and content to visitors who are not signed in.
- [Activating or deactivating the Newsfeed module](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/activatingdeactivating-the-newsfeed-module.md): An organisation administrator can turn the Newsfeed module on or off from the Talkspirit administration console, a change that applies to every member in the organisation.
- [Configuring the organisation apps directory](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/configure-an-organization-apps-directory.md): Administrators can publish a curated directory of external apps that members open from Apps in the main navigation, built from a catalogue of more than 1,000 apps, custom apps, or an Okta synchronisation
- [Setting up chat message editing](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/set-up-chat-message-editing.md): Platform administrators can allow chat message editing and choose how long a message stays editable after sending, from 15 minutes to no limit.
- [Allowing users to pin comments](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/allowing-users-to-pin-comments.md): Talkspirit administrators choose who can pin comments, administrators only or post owners and group managers too, with an optional per-group override
- [Disable notification emails for your organisation](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/disable-email-notifications-for-your-organization.md): Administrators can switch off notification emails organisation-wide. Invitation and password-reset emails are not covered and still go out
- [Ensuring videoconferencing is available for members](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/administration-security/how-to-ensure-the-availability-of-the-videoconference.md): Administrators switch videoconferencing on under Administration > Tools, decide whether meetings can be recorded, get the required network ports opened, and check browser permissions.

### API & webhooks

- [The Talkspirit Partner API](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/integrations/partner-api.md): The Partner API is a versioned REST contract for named integration partners. It is authenticated with an API key that an administrator of your organisation creates, and it is not open to self-serve signup.
- [Manage API keys as an administrator](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/integrations/manage-api-tokens-as-an-admin.md): Administrators create and revoke Talkspirit API keys in Administration, choose the scopes each key carries, and copy the key value once
- [Connecting Claude and other AI assistants to Talkspirit](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/integrations/connect-claude-and-other-ai-assistants.md): Connect Claude, or any MCP-compatible AI assistant, to your Talkspirit organisation. Sign in from Claude on the web or the desktop app, or use an MCP key for Claude Code and other tools. The assistant acts with your own permissions.
- [What the Talkspirit MCP server can do](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/integrations/what-the-mcp-server-can-do.md): What an AI assistant connected through the Talkspirit MCP server can read, search, create, change and remove, the rules that apply to all of it, and where the content it reads goes.
- [Create and manage MCP keys](https://support.talkspirit.com/raw/en/integrations/create-and-manage-mcp-keys.md): MCP keys let an AI assistant query your Talkspirit data through the Model Context Protocol server. You create and revoke them in your account, under MCP keys, and choose whether each key is read only or read and write.
