# Saving the agenda items of a meeting you missed

## Saving the agenda items of a meeting you missed
When nobody opens a meeting, Talkspirit leaves it exactly as it is, still **Scheduled**, and then deletes it automatically: 1 day after its start time when it carries no agenda items, 7 days after its start time when it carries at least one. Nothing is sent to warn you first. To keep the work prepared for that meeting, move its agenda items to an upcoming meeting before the deadline.

You can move any agenda item you created or present. The meeting you move it *to* is chosen from a picker, and today that picker only offers meetings you organise or may edit, starting within the next 30 days. If the meeting you want is not in the list, that limit is why.

## When is the meeting deleted?

Both deadlines count from the meeting's scheduled start time:

- **No agenda items:** deleted 1 day after the start time.
- **One or more agenda items:** deleted 7 days after the start time.

The clean-up runs once a day, so a meeting disappears on the first run after its deadline rather than on the exact hour.

Agenda items that came from a tension are the one thing that survives. Deleting the meeting releases the link, and the tension returns to the **Tensions** list under **Structure**, ready to be brought to another meeting. Agenda items typed straight into the meeting go with it.

> **Warning:** Nobody is notified before the deletion, and you cannot restore the meeting or its agenda items afterwards.

## Where do I find the meeting I missed?

Open the **Meetings** app. The list and the calendar show the current week, so a meeting from earlier in the week is still sitting on its original date. For an older one, move the date range back.

A meeting nobody opened carries no badge and no marker of any kind, so it looks the same as a meeting still to come. Check the date to tell them apart.

## How do I move its agenda items to another meeting?

1. In the **Meetings** app, open **Agenda items**.
2. Click **Filter**, then tick **Scheduled**. A meeting nobody opened is still scheduled, so its items appear under **Scheduled**, with the meeting's name and date in the **Meeting** column.
3. Click **More options** on the item's row, then click **Bring to a meeting**.
4. Choose the target meeting, then click **Add to meeting**.

Any meeting you can edit that starts within the next 30 days is offered, recurring or one-off. The items leave the old meeting and appear on the target meeting's agenda, keeping their titles, descriptions and attachments. To move several at once, tick them and use **Bring to a meeting** in the selection bar.

> **Note:** Your organisation can rename **Tension**, so the list under **Structure** may be called "Driver", "Spark" or "Note" instead.

## What if there is no meeting to move them to?

Click **Remove from meeting** instead. The item detaches from the meeting and waits in the **Parking lot**, which has no deadline, and you can bring it to a meeting later once one is scheduled.

You can also give the missed meeting a new date. Open it from the **Meetings** app, click **Edit meeting**, and set a start time in the future. The clock restarts from the new start time, and the agenda items stay where they are.
