# Signing in with the Talkspirit mobile app


You can sign in to Talkspirit on your phone with the mobile app for iOS and Android, or through the mobile site in your browser. Enter your email address or username and your password, use your organisation's single sign-on, or scan a QR code from the app. Once you are signed in, your account opens on the device.

## How do I sign in with my email or username?

1. Open the Talkspirit app on iOS or Android, or your organisation's mobile site.
2. Enter your email address or username, then tap **Continue**.
3. If your account belongs to more than one organisation, select the one you want to open.
4. Enter your password, then tap **Sign in**.

If your organisation uses single sign-on, tap the provider button under **Sign in with** instead of entering a password. You can also tap **Get a log-in e-mail** to receive a one-time sign-in link by email rather than typing a password.

## How do I sign in with a QR code?

The mobile app shows a **Log in with the QRCode** option on its sign-in screen. Tap it, allow camera access, then tap **Continue** to open the scanner and point your camera at a QR code. Your account opens once the code is read.

The QR code is generated by the Talkspirit web interface, under the help menu in the **Download our apps** section (**Connect with QR Code**). This QR display is part of the classic Talkspirit web interface.

> **Note:** QR sign-in is available in the mobile app only, not on the mobile site.

## What do I do if I forgot my password?

1. On the password screen, tap **Forgot your password?** below the password field.
2. Talkspirit sends a password reset link to your email address.
3. Open the link from your email to choose a new password.

The **Forgot your password?** link appears when you sign in with your email address and a password. If your organisation uses single sign-on, reset your password with your identity provider instead.
