# Organisation chart

The organisation chart shows your organisation's reporting relationships as a tree, on the **Members** page. You open it by switching the Members list to the **Hierarchy** view. The chart appears once an administrator has enabled the **Member hierarchy** add-on for your organisation. You set your own place in the chart, your manager and your direct reports, from your profile.

## How do I set my manager and direct reports?

1. Click your **avatar** in the top bar to open the user menu.
2. Click **Profile & Preferences**.
3. Select **Information**.
4. Under **Professional information**, set **Managed by** (the person you report to) and **Manager of** (the people who report to you).

Your changes are saved as you pick each person. There is no separate save step.

## How do administrators set up the organisation chart?

Administrators enable and configure the chart:

1. Go to **Administration**.
2. Open **Users**.
3. Select the **Hierarchy** tab.
4. Turn on **Enable member hierarchy**.
5. Under **Source managers**, add the top-level managers the reporting tree is built from.

An administrator can also set any member's manager: open that member's profile from the **Members** page and edit the **Manager** field.
