# Using secondary navigation in Talkspirit

## Using secondary navigation in Talkspirit
Talkspirit has two navigation layers, both on the left of the screen. The narrow **navigation rail** carries one icon per app: click an icon to open that app. Beside it, the **app panel** lists everything inside the app you are currently in: its views, its sections, and the items assigned to you. The rail stays the same wherever you go; the panel changes with the app.

Watch the [video overview](https://www.loom.com/share/80fc23dc78694426a90ab1ee9c1c7fe5) to see how the navigation works.

## How do I move between apps?

Click an app's icon in the navigation rail. The rail is always in the same order: Home, Cockpit, Structure, Goals, Projects, Meetings, Newsfeed, Chat, Calendar, Library, Drive, Groups. You only see the apps your organisation uses and you have access to.

## How do I dock or hide the app panel?

Use the pin control in the app panel to dock the panel in place or let it float. While the panel is floating, hover over the navigation rail to peek at it without docking it again.

## What is in the Structure module panel?

The **Structure** app brings together the former Governance, Proposals, and Publications apps in one space. Its panel lists Explore organisation, Circles & roles directory, Proposals, Working agreements and Timetravel, with your own circles and roles below. Those appear automatically from your assignments, and **Starred** marks the ones you want at the top.

Tensions also live in Structure, alongside the bell in the top bar.

**Note:** administrators can rename core terms for the whole organisation, so "Working agreements", "Proposals" and "Tensions" may read differently in your organisation.

## What is in the Goals module panel?

**Goals** is its own app with its own icon in the rail, the app that legacy holaspirit called OKRs. Its panel lists All Goals and My goals. A third section, **KRs to update**, appears only when you have key results waiting for an update, so an empty list is not a fault.

## What is in the Projects module panel?

The **Projects** app panel lists **All projects** with a count and **My tasks**, then your own boards under **My projects**.

## What is in the Meetings module panel?

The **Meetings** app merges the former Meetings and Inbox apps. Its panel lists Meetings, Reports and Agenda items.

## What does the navigation look like on a small screen?

On a small screen the navigation rail moves to a bar along the bottom of the screen, and the app panel opens over the content instead of beside it.
