# Sharing a GIF during a videoconference

You can share an animated GIF during a Talkspirit videoconference through the built-in Giphy integration. The GIF you choose displays in place of your camera or profile photo for a few seconds, then stops on its own. Every participant can send one, and everyone in the videoconference sees it.

## How do I send a GIF in a videoconference?

1. In the videoconference toolbar, click the chevron next to the **Raise hand** button.
2. Select the **Giphy** logo.

3. Search for the GIF you want.
4. Click the GIF to send it.

The GIF appears in place of your camera or profile photo for a few seconds, then stops automatically. How long it shows depends on the GIF you choose. You cannot stop a GIF once it is playing: it ends on its own.

> **Note:** If the videoconference is being recorded, the GIF also appears in the replay.
