# Share your screen during a videoconference


During a Talkspirit videoconference you can share your screen with the other participants to present a document, a slideshow, or anything else open on your device. You start and stop sharing from the meeting controls, and your web browser asks you to pick which screen, window, or browser tab to show before the other participants see anything.

## How do I start sharing my screen?

1. Join the videoconference from your meeting link.
2. In the meeting controls, select the screen-sharing option.
3. In the dialog your browser opens, choose the screen, application window, or browser tab to share, then confirm.

The content you selected now appears to the other participants.

## How do I stop sharing my screen?

Select the screen-sharing option again to return to your camera. Your web browser also shows a sharing indicator while you share, and you can end the share from there too.
