# Publishing and commenting with a company profile


## Publishing and commenting with a company profile
Administrators can create company profiles and assign them to specific members. Once assigned, those members can publish posts and write comments on behalf of a group, department, committee, or entity rather than under their personal profile. This is useful for official communications that should appear under an organisational identity rather than an individual name.

## How do I publish a post with a company profile?

If an administrator has associated you with a company profile, the profile selector appears when you create a post.

1. Open the post creation form.
2. Select the company profile you want to publish as from the profile selector.
3. Fill in the recipients (a group is required), a title, and a description.
4. Click **Publish**.

Note: it is only possible to publish with a company profile within a group.

## How do I comment with a company profile?

When writing a comment on a post, a chevron appears next to the comment field if you have been assigned a company profile.

1. Click the **chevron** next to the comment field.
2. Select the company profile you want to comment as.
3. Write and submit your comment.

## Who can post and comment with a company profile?

All members who have been assigned a company profile by an administrator can publish and comment using that profile.
