# Interacting and sending feedback in a videoconference

In a videoconference you can raise your hand to signal that you want to speak, and send an emoji reaction to respond to a point without interrupting the meeting. Both controls are in the videoconference toolbar.

## How do I raise or lower my hand?

Raising your hand signals to the other participants that you want to speak, so the current speaker can finish before taking questions.

1. Click the **Raise hand** button in the videoconference toolbar.

The other participants see that your hand is raised. Click the button again to lower it.

## How do I send an emoji reaction?

Sending a reaction lets you respond to a point without posting a chat message.

1. Click the **Reactions** button in the videoconference toolbar.
2. Choose an emoji.

Everyone in the meeting sees your reaction.
