# Finding and managing my drafts

## Finding and managing my drafts
You can keep any post, photo gallery, poll, or checklist as a draft and finish it later. Drafts are personal: only you can see them, and they wait in the **Drafts** panel of the post editor until you publish or delete them.

## How do I save a draft?

1. On the Newsfeed, select **New**, then what you want to create: **Create a post**, **Create a photo gallery**, **Create a poll**, or **Create a checklist**. The **Start a post** button at the top of the feed opens the same editor.

![The Newsfeed panel with the New button pressed and its menu open, listing Create a post, Create a photo gallery, Create a poll and Create a checklist](/images/communication/find-the-drafts/01-new-menu.png)

2. Fill in the recipients, a title, and your content.
3. Click **Save and close**. A confirmation appears: "Your draft has been saved!"

![The footer of the post editor: a Card preview switch on the left, and on the right Cancel, Save and close and Publish. Save and close is outlined](/images/communication/find-the-drafts/02-editor-footer-save-and-close.png)

Talkspirit also saves your work as a draft automatically every 30 seconds while you write. Clicking **Cancel** on a new post discards it, so use **Save and close** when you want to keep your work.

A draft saved without a title appears in the list as **[No title]**.

## How do I find a saved draft?

1. Open the post editor: select **New**, then **Create a post**.
2. In the panel on the right-hand side of the editor, click the **Drafts** icon. When you already have drafts, the **My drafts** list opens by itself.

![The post editor with the right-hand panel open on My drafts. It lists two drafts, one shown as [No title] and one titled "Office move: what changes in ...", each with a clock icon and how long ago it was last modified, and a bin icon on the right](/images/communication/find-the-drafts/03-my-drafts-panel.png)

Each draft shows its title, a preview of the content, and the date it was last modified, most recent first.

3. Click a draft to open it and continue editing.

Once you publish a draft, it no longer appears in the list.

A post with a scheduled date is listed under the **Scheduled posts** tab next to **Drafts**, not in **My drafts**. See [Scheduling a post](/communication/scheduling-a-post).

## How do I delete a draft?

1. Open the **Drafts** panel.
2. Click the **bin** icon next to the draft you want to remove.

![A single entry in the My drafts list: the draft title [No title], the time it was last modified below it, and the bin icon at the right-hand end of the row](/images/communication/find-the-drafts/04-draft-bin-icon.png)

> **Warning:** The draft is deleted immediately, without a confirmation step.

## Can I save a draft of a comment?

Yes. A comment you start writing is saved as a draft automatically. To save and hide it deliberately, click the **Save** icon in the comment box. Your text comes back when you click the comment field of the same post again. Comment drafts do not appear in the **Drafts** panel.
