# Videoconference FAQ

## Videoconference FAQ

Talkspirit videoconferencing is built on the Jitsi infrastructure, which is GDPR compliant. It is available via supported browsers on desktop and via the Talkspirit mobile application on iOS and Android. The supported browsers are Chrome 80, Firefox 72, Edge 83, and Safari 13. Internet Explorer 11 is not supported.

## What are the technical requirements?

You need a minimum bandwidth of 500 kbps per user for satisfactory performance.

To use the service, open ports on the domain *.talkspirit.com on IP addresses 51.210.123.46 and 135.125.91.135 for TCP web 443 and UDP 10000 flows.

## How do I improve videoconference quality?

Quality depends on your internet connection speed and your machine's processing power. If the video is not smooth, disable your video channel to reduce bandwidth usage.

## What is the participant limit for a videoconference?

Videoconferencing supports up to 50 participants with video enabled. This limit exists for performance reasons.

## How many videoconferences can run simultaneously?

There is no limit on simultaneous videoconferences.

## Is there a time limit for meetings?

There is no time limit for meetings.

## How many people can join via the phone bridge?

There is no limit on phone bridge participants.

## What does the videoconferencing service cost?

What videoconferencing costs depends on your subscription plan. Check your plan details to see what is included, or contact our team if you are not sure.

## What are the technical specifications?

**Codec support:**
- Video: VP9
- Audio: Opus

**Bandwidth:**

Talkspirit uses the WebRTC framework, bandwidth adjusts automatically, so there is nothing for you to configure. For a good quality two-person video call at 720p30, you need at least 1.4 Mbps upload and download. The system automatically reduces resolution as available bandwidth decreases and operates with as little as 384 kbps.
