## Adding videos to a publication

You can add videos to your posts on the news feed, with an experience similar to images. The video plays directly inside the publication when the player is clicked.

## How do I insert a video?

In the post editor, add a video in one of three ways:

- Type **/** in the text area and select **Video**, then upload a video file, or open the **Video from URL** tab and paste a link to a video file
- Drag and drop a video file from your computer into the editor
- Paste a video file from your clipboard

> **Tip:** Use an MP4 video to make sure it is displayed correctly for all users. Other video formats may not work consistently across different browsers.

## How do I resize a video or add a caption?

Click the video in the editor:

- Drag the handles to resize it, as you would an image
- Select **Legend** in the video toolbar to add a caption below the video

## What is the maximum video size?

The maximum size of an uploaded video is your organisation's file upload limit, which depends on its plan. If a file exceeds the limit, a **File too big** message shows the limit that applies to your organisation.
