# Adding an extra project board

You can add as many project boards as you need from the **Projects** app, where each board is labelled a project. Open the app, click **Add project**, name the board, set its privacy, and click **Create**. Any member can create a project board; guests cannot. A circle holds one project board by default, so adding a second board to the same circle depends on a setting an administrator controls.

## How do I add a project board?

1. Open the **Projects** app.
2. Click **Add project**.
3. Enter a **Name** for the board.
4. Choose the **Privacy**: **Public**, **Private**, or **Secret**.
5. Add a **Description**, a **Section Template**, or **Members** if you need them.
6. Click **Create**.

> **Note:** To add more than one project board to a circle, an administrator first turns on **Enable multiple project creation per circle** in the **Projects** app settings, under **Project Creation**. That option requires **Enable automatic project creation for new circles** to be on. Without it, a second board for a circle that already has one is refused.

## How do I star a project board?

Star a project board to keep it in the **Starred** section of the Projects sidebar for quick access.

1. Open the **Projects** app.
2. Find the board you want to star.
3. Open the board's menu and select **Star project**. In the list view, you can also click the star on the board's row.

The board appears in the **Starred** section of the sidebar. To remove it, open the board's menu and select **Unstar project**.
