# Defining an audience and publishing a Library page

Library managers control who can see each page by defining its audience. A page can be shared with all users, all members, selected members, or selected groups. Once the audience is set, publishing the page makes it immediately accessible to that audience. A page left as a draft stays visible only to library managers.

## How do I define a page audience?

1. Open the top-level Library page you want to configure.
2. Click the audience button in the page header. It shows the current audience, such as **All members**.
3. In the **Audience** window, choose who can see the page:

   - **All users**: members and guests (when guests are authorised to access the module)
   - **All members**
   - **Selected members**
   - **Selected groups**

4. For **Selected members** or **Selected groups**, click **Next**, add the people or groups, then click **Save**. For **All users** or **All members**, click **Save**.

> **Note:** You can add only groups you are a member of. The audience control appears on top-level pages; sub-pages inherit the audience of their top-level page.

## How do I publish a page?

Once the page is ready and the audience is set:

1. Click the **Publish** button in the page header.

The status dot next to the page in the left tree turns green, confirming the page is published and visible to the chosen audience. A sub-page can be published only after its top-level page is published.

To give a published page more visibility, pin it to the Library homepage, described in [Tracking and highlighting Library resources in Talkspirit](/en/collaboration/organise-the-library).

## How do I save a page as a draft?

To keep editing before making a page public:

1. Click the **Exit edit mode** button.

The status dot stays grey, and the page remains visible only to library managers. All content is saved automatically, so you can return to the page to continue editing or publish it at any time.
