# Creating pages and sub-pages in the Library

Library managers create pages and sub-pages directly in the Talkspirit Library. Select **New** for a main page, or the **+** next to an existing page for a sub-page. Each new page opens in edit mode with an **Untitled** title you can rename. New pages stay in draft, visible only to Library managers, until you publish them.

**Prerequisites:** you need Library-manager rights. Only members with the Library-manager role see the **New** button and the **+** sub-page action.

## How do I create a main page?

1. In the Library, select **New**.

The page opens in edit mode with an **Untitled** title and appears at the top of the page list. You can reorder pages at any time by dragging them.

## How do I create a sub-page?

Sub-pages sit under a main page, so create the main page first.

1. Point to the main page in the Library sidebar.
2. Select the **+** icon that appears.

The sub-page opens in edit mode, nested under its main page. There is no limit on the number of pages or sub-pages.

## How do I name a page?

### Adding a title

When you create a page, the title field is focused automatically.

1. Type a title in the **Untitled** field at the top of the page.
2. Select **Exit edit mode** to save it as a draft, or **Publish** to make the page visible to its audience.

### Editing a title

1. Open the page and select **Edit**.
2. Change the title.
3. Select **Exit edit mode** to save without publishing, or **Publish** to make the change visible.

> **Note:** **Exit edit mode** saves your changes but keeps them hidden from the audience. Publish when you are ready to share.

## How do I add a cover image?

1. Open the page and select **Edit**.
2. Select **Add cover**.
3. Choose a JPEG or PNG image from your computer.
4. Select **Publish** to make the cover visible to the audience.

### How do I change or remove a cover image?

1. Open the page and select **Edit**.
2. Point to the cover image.
3. Select **Change cover** to replace it, or the trash icon (**Delete cover**) to remove it.
