# Adding an image to a Library page

As a Library manager, you can add images to any Library page you edit. Insert an image with the `/` command, then resize, caption, replace, or delete it directly on the page. Images can be uploaded from your computer, added from a URL, or dragged straight onto the page. GIFs are supported and animate on the page.

## How do I insert an image?

1. In the Library page editor, type `/`.
2. Select **Image** from the list.

3. In the upload dialog, drag an image onto the drop area or click **Choose an image** to pick a file from your computer. To use an online image, open the **Image from URL** tab, paste the address, and click **Add image**.

The image is added in the centre of the page. You can also drag an image file directly onto the page to insert it.

## How do I resize an image?

1. Hover your mouse over the image.
2. Click and hold one of the vertical handles on the left or right edge.
3. Drag inwards or outwards to reduce or enlarge the image.

## How do I add a caption to an image?

1. Hover your mouse over the image.
2. Click **Legend** on the toolbar.
3. Type your caption below the image. You can format the caption text, for example in bold or italic.

## How do I replace an image?

1. Hover your mouse over the image.
2. Click the three-dots icon on the toolbar to open the image menu.
3. Select **Replace**.
4. Drag a new image onto the drop area, click **Choose an image**, or add one from the **Image from URL** tab.

## How do I delete an image?

1. Hover your mouse over the image.
2. Click the three-dots icon on the toolbar to open the image menu.
3. Select **Delete**, then click **Confirm?** to remove the image.
