# Add files, links, and embeds to a Library page

Library pages hold more than text. From the slash command menu you can attach a file, link to another Library page, upload a video, and embed external content such as a YouTube video or a map. Type `/` anywhere on a page to open the menu, then choose what to insert.

## How do I attach a file?

1. Type `/` and select **File** from the menu.

2. Select **Choose an attachment**, or drag a file onto the placeholder.

3. Pick where the file comes from:
   - **My computer**
   - **External resource**
   - **Google Drive**, **Dropbox**, **Onedrive**, or **Box**, when your organisation has connected that service
   - **Code snippet**, when your organisation has enabled it

Readers open the attachment by clicking it, which downloads the file.

## How do I link to another Library page?

1. Type `#` anywhere on the page, or type `/` and select **Link to a page**.

2. Type to search, then select the target page from the list.

The page title appears as a clickable link. Readers select it to open the linked page.

> **Note:** Readers who are not in the linked page's audience cannot open it. Give the linked page an audience that includes the readers of this page.

## How do I add a video?

1. Type `/` and select **Video** from the menu.

2. Upload a video file from your computer, or paste a video link.

The video plays inline on the page. You can add a caption below it.

## How do I embed external content?

1. Type `/` and select **Embed** from the menu.

2. Paste a link from YouTube, Google Maps, X, or another supported service, then select **Embed**.

A preview of the linked content appears on the page. Select **Edit** on the preview to change the link.
