# How do trials work in Talkspirit?

Talkspirit modules and add-ons can be offered on a trial, but a trial is not self-serve: your Talkspirit representative starts it for your organisation. To arrange one, contact your representative, who chooses which module or add-on to trial and how long the trial runs. While a module is on trial, everyone with access uses it in full, and administrators see its trial status in **Administration**. When the trial ends, the module is locked until it is added to your plan.

## What happens during and after a trial?

While the trial runs, the module behaves like a paid one: every feature is available, and an administrator can turn it on or off in **Administration** like any other module. The module shows its trial status there, with the closing date (for example, **Trial ends in 12 days**).

When the trial ends, access to the module is removed and it shows as locked in **Administration**, with a **Contact sales** option. Ending one trial does not affect your other modules. The content created during the trial is not deleted: it becomes available again once the module is added to your plan. To keep the module, contact your Talkspirit representative.
