# Using the Homepage on mobile

In the Talkspirit mobile app, the Homepage shows the same published home pages as the browser version, arranged in a single scrolling column. You can switch between the pages aimed at you and read every module in full. The mobile app displays the Homepage in read mode: managers edit pages from a computer. For what the Homepage is and how it is built, see [Talkspirit Homepage overview](/en/administration-security/the-homepage).

## How do I open the Homepage on mobile?

1. Open the Talkspirit mobile app and sign in.
2. Tap **Home** in the bottom navigation bar. If **Home** is not there, tap **Menu**, then **Home**.

Your administrator chooses which apps sit in the bottom navigation bar; every other app, including the Homepage, stays reachable from **Menu**. The **Home** entry appears only while the Homepage app is active and at least one published page is aimed at you. A badge on the entry signals pages with content you have not read yet.

## How do I switch between home pages?

1. Tap the page name at the top of the Homepage. A chevron marks it as a list.
2. In the **Portals** panel that opens, tap the page you want to display. A dot marks pages with changes you have not read.

The panel lists every page aimed at you. The mobile app labels this list **Portals**, its word for home pages.

Only Homepage managers create and edit pages, from a computer: see [Managing and publishing the Homepage](/en/administration-security/managing-and-publishing-the-homepage).

## How does a page display on mobile?

The rows and columns a manager designed for the desktop are flattened into one column: each published module appears in full, one after the other. There is no truncated preview to expand; articles display their whole text, image or video, and any link they carry.

- **Articles** show their title, author, publication date and full content.
- **Events** show the date, the time and, when set, the location as a map link.
- **Referents** show contact people. Tap a referent to open their profile, or use the buttons under their name to start a chat or create a post for them, depending on the apps your organisation uses.
- **Media** and **app shortcuts** display as they do in the browser.

A carousel has no rotating banner on mobile: each of its items appears as a separate article at the top of its page section. The banner form exists in the browser version only.

> **Note:** whether the Homepage app is available to your organisation depends on your subscription, and which pages you see depends on the audience a manager set for each page.
