# Set the default landing page after sign-in

The **Administration → Onboarding** page is where an administrator sets the default landing page: the screen every member opens when they sign in to the organisation. You pick one page for the whole organisation from a short menu, and it applies the next time each member signs in. The Cockpit is always offered; the other pages appear only when their module is active.

## Prerequisites

You need administrator rights. The **Administration** area, including the Onboarding page, is available only to administrators.

## Set the default landing page

1. Go to **Administration → Onboarding**.
2. Under **Landing page**, open the **Default page after login** menu.
3. Select the page members should open when they sign in.

The change saves as soon as you select it: a **Landing page updated** confirmation appears. There is no separate save step.

## What each option opens

The menu offers up to four destinations:

- **Cockpit**: each member's personal home, gathering their attention items, meetings, circles and roles. It is always available as an option.
- **Homepage**: the organisation's Homepage portal of news, events and shortcuts.
- **Chat**: the messaging app.
- **Structure**: the organisation chart of circles and roles.

An option appears only when its module is enabled for the organisation, so the list can be shorter than four. The Cockpit is the exception: it stays in the menu whichever modules are on.

The choice sets where members arrive first, nothing more. Each member still reaches every other app from the navigation rail, and each person sees only the content their access allows, on whichever page you choose.

## Onboarding messages

The Onboarding page also shows an **Onboarding messages** section, for a welcome message and onboarding steps shown to new members. This section is not yet available for configuration: it is reserved for a forthcoming capability, and selecting the landing page is the only setting the page applies today.

> **Note:** The onboarding-message fields are placeholders. Nothing you see under **Onboarding messages** changes what new members receive yet.
