# Exporting my organisation's data as a member


As a member, you can export a project board you manage and download the organisation chart as an animation. Organisation-wide data exports, such as members, circles, roles, and statistics, are reserved for administrators. This article covers the exports open to you without administrator rights; for everything else, see the administrator guide linked below.

## How do I export a project board?

You can export any project board you can configure as a ZIP archive. The archive holds a JSON file with the board's tasks, columns, and assignments, along with the files attached to its tasks, and you choose whether to include comments. The **Export** option appears only for boards you can configure, so you cannot export a board you have only joined.

1. Open the project board you want to export.
2. Open the board menu (the three-dots icon in the top right).
3. Select **Export**.
4. Choose whether to **Include comments**.
5. Click **Export**, then **Download** when the file is ready.

## How do I export the organisation chart?

You can export the organisation chart as an animation of your structure's history, saved as a video (MP4) or an animated GIF. The animation plays back how circles and roles changed over time.

1. In the sidebar, under **My organisation**, select **Timetravel**.
2. Click **Export animation**.
3. Choose the **Format**: **Video (MP4)** or **GIF**.
4. Set the range, resolution, and background you want.
5. Click **Export** to download the file.

> **Note:** Timetravel export is off by default. If you do not see **Export animation**, ask an administrator to enable it in the structure settings.
