# Creating, editing, and deleting home pages

You create, edit, reorder, and delete the pages of the Homepage from **Administration → Apps → Home** in classic Talkspirit. Each page carries a title shown on its tab, an audience, and a status: a draft page is visible only to Homepage managers, a published page to the audience you set.

Only designated Homepage managers can work with pages, and an administrator is not a manager by default. How administrators appoint managers is covered in [Activating the Homepage](/en/administration-security/activating-the-homepage). For an overview of what the Homepage is, see [Talkspirit Homepage overview](/en/administration-security/the-homepage).

## How do I create a home page?

1. In classic Talkspirit, go to **Administration → Apps → Home**. As a manager, you can also select **Manage** at the top right of the Homepage to reach the same screen.

2. Select **+ Add a page**. On the Homepage itself, the **+** button at the end of the page tabs opens the same window.
3. In the **Create a page** window, enter the **Page title**. The title appears on the page's tab.
4. Under **Who can see this page**, select **Allow all** (members and guest users), **Allow all members** (guest users excluded), or **Allow selected members**.
5. Under **Page status**, keep **Draft** while you build the page, or select **Published**.
6. Select **Save**.

If you selected **Allow selected members**, a **Manage members** screen opens next: add the members one by one, then select **Save changes**. When your plan includes people sets, you can also link the page with a people set instead of picking members individually.

To fill the new page with rows and modules, select **Edit content** next to it. Building the layout and its content is covered in [Managing and publishing the Homepage](/en/administration-security/managing-and-publishing-the-homepage).

## How do I edit a home page?

1. Go to **Administration → Apps → Home**.
2. Select the **cogwheel** next to the page.
3. Select **Edit page**.
4. In the **Update this page** window, change the title, the audience, or the status, then select **Save**.

Publishing works the same way: set the **Page status** to **Published** and the page becomes visible to its audience. When the page's audience is **Allow selected members**, the cogwheel menu also offers **Manage members** and, when your plan includes people sets, **Link this page with a people set**.

## How do I reorder the pages?

In **Administration → Apps → Home**, drag a page up or down in the list. Pages appear on the Homepage as tabs in the order of this list.

## How do I delete a home page?

1. Go to **Administration → Apps → Home**.
2. Select the **cogwheel** next to the page.
3. Select **Delete page**.
4. Select **Delete** in the confirmation dialog.

> **Warning:** Deleting a page is permanent. The page and every module it contains are deleted with it.
